You owe it to your wedding guests...
Tuesday, 27 November 2007
So if you find yourself suffering from 'Competitive Wedding Syndrome' and actually saying, "I just want our wedding to be better than everyone else's" here's a thought...
Every guest that comes to your wedding will spend an average of £386 to attend (according to a Credit Action report in October 2007). They've agreed to come because they want to see two people they care about tie the knot (let's assume they're not just coming for the free meal!). Don't you think you owe it to them to ensure you use your personalities rather than your bank balance to make your day one to remember? They'll thank you for it, and you'll be glad you did it when you're celebrating your one month wedding anniversary in style - rather than sobbing over your credit card bill and another conversation that starts, "So remind me why we spent £1,000 on a 10 minute fireworks display and now can't pay the mortgage?"!
Until next time,
