Alongside a successful wedding planning and coordination business, magicdust also hosts a wedding planner course for people coming into the wedding industry. Covering how to plan & coordinate weddings, and how to run & market your business, the course is all about giving people the tools & inspiration to get out there & be successful wedding planners.

The day-long Master Class wedding planner course is recognised by the Department of Employment's UK Register of Learning Providers (UKRLP), and magicdust's Tammy Willson also lectures on the subject at King's College London and the University of London Union.

Why the Master Class wedding planner course?

Our 'refreshing, simple and invaluable' approach to wedding planning has been hugely successful with couples and we know that it sets us apart from a lot of other wedding planning companies. We are challenging the wedding industry to be more focused on the wants and needs of their clients - the bride and groom - because let us never forget it is their day and we are privileged to be involved.

Which is why we created magicdust's 'Wedding Planner Master Classes'. There are two formats - the small group session, and the One-on-One session - and both are a refreshing alternative to the "distance learning" and "diploma" courses which aren't able to take an individual's motivations and objectives into account (and are actually more expensive).

In the small group format, you and a maximum of 7 other people spend an entire day on a structured course with the Director of a successful wedding planning company.

In the One-on-One session, the day is built around you, from the timing to the content.

From both types of session, you come away with the direction you need to start your career in wedding planning & coordination.

How does this wedding planner course work?

The Wedding Planner Master Class course has two simple objectives:

- To give you practical advice, both for planning weddings and for getting started with your own business

- To have a really enjoyable and inspiring day!

The day consists of three sections, each of which has a session dedicated to different elements of planning & coordinating weddings. There are also sessions to show you how to go about starting your wedding planning business, how to market it and how to keep growing and developing your company.

With Tammy's experience in starting magicdust, wedding planning, launching Grazia magazine and national newspaper advertising - you know you're in for an interesting day!

When, where, how much?

And because we're determined to challenge the way the wedding industry works with couples, and how it's perceived - we won't charge a small fortune to take part!

This exclusive day course with Tammy costs just £195 for the small group version, and £245 for the One-on-One. This includes a nice lunch, refreshments plus a CD & printed information to take home with you to use as you start your career in wedding planning.

The Group Sessions begin at 9.30am prompt and finish at 4.30pm, whilst One-on-One sessions are more focused, lasting 4 hours, and we can be more flexible on the timing.
